Another break in at 16th floor
It's extremely :cry: that occured another break in at 16th floor this evening. I asked the security how can be this happened or break in. They told me that the gate was not cut and they found easily to break in. Since this case has happened in BLK-E recently, we must be alert about this case. Change the door lock to be more secure, especially those rented and they really ignore of changing their locks. Furthermore, the break-in unit was not putting his lock at the post box there which i found curious about that. As a resident of each floor, we must stand unite to prevent this thing happen in our block or unit. I strongly agreed that the important of neighbourhood relationship to keep prevent this thing happen.

Hi Kenntan, I totally agree with you. We can't just depend on the guards to keep our place safe. As a start we should get to know our neighbours at our own floors. To know the whole block would be a big task, so our own floors would be a good place to start. Kenntan, you mentioned that it happened in Blk E? When and which floor was it? I only knew about the ones that happened in Blk C & D. Our original grill lock and wooden door is actually very easy to break in, specially the wooder door. Changing lock will help prevent it to a certain extend. Since the gate was not cut could mean that it is an insider's job. One of the guard told me that one of the thieves which they caught the other day was actually renting a unit there. We suggested installing access card system. Understand that it was suggested to the management, but no outcome was given.
