Astro Problem My astro recently cannot receive any signal on any of channel and I am using central receiver. Anyone of you got problem on astro?

Hi, I am from Block D too. According to our Management Office, the whole Block D has no transmission for all ASTRO channels due to setting for centerlized satallite dish for Block D is having problem (what is actual problem not sure) and it has been 4 days already waiting, the Management Office said their Contractor came and verified yesterday, will issue them with the quotation on how much the cost would be by this evening. If the cost for repairing is high all the residents for Block D have to wait for more days for them to solve.
I am still paying my ASTRO bill for nothing.....

OH..... will the management refuse to repair the device if the contractor charge high??

Called and spoke to Encik Irwan from the Management Office a while ago, he is explained to me their current situation, also informed me not only for Block D, apparently Block E also having the centralised dish problems due to lightning strike and the cost for repairing is rather HIGH (more than 22k), the Management Office is still waiting for the Delovoper to revert to them in this matter.
If they were to wait for the insurance claim...well, it will take months to get the signal back, this is really drive me mad!!!

Called and spoke to Encik Irwan from the Management Office a while ago, he is explained to me their current situation, also informed me not only for Block D, apparently Block E also having the centralised dish problems due to lightning strike and the cost for repairing is rather HIGH (more than 22k), the Management Office is still waiting for the Delovoper to revert to them in this matter.
If they were to wait for the insurance claim...well, it will take months to get the signal back, this is really drive me mad!!!
tu pasal lu nampak banyak cakera pasang kat luar. kalo lu tunggu si bjd atau management...... esok lusa sampai lu bayar astro buta buta berbulan bulan. masalah lif..... petir punya pasal; masalah astro, petir punya pasal. eh, mungkin bukan pencuri yang pecah masuk rumah orang..... tapi petir punya pasal. elok satu hari petir sambar opis bjd........

i would suggest that you install your antenna at one of your balcony as a temporary measure. Perhaps it would be a permanent feature if it serves the purpose better.

Hi, my unit in Block E is facing the main road. i see alot of units facing the swimming pool installing the astro dish. can we install the the dish anywhere else instead of west?

Your dish needs to aim where the rest are aiming this is the direction and angle of the satellite in the sky.
