Break In AT Block D
Guys, There is at least 5 units broken in at 9 Nov. Location is Block D. Those who used SOLEX equivalent padlock (Solex equivalent type of key) do change your padlock RIGHT NOW!! All units broken in is using this type of padlock and can be open easily either with Master Key or even modify allen key (Normal automotive tools). I am one of the victim. Have deadbolt also do not prevent them from coming in due to our lousy door quality. They unable to open the deadbolt but i suspect they used crowbar to force it open. Main target is Passport, Jewelry, cash, watches, laptop and even luggage bags. DOes anyone spots any suspect using luggage bag between 12-4 pm? Please inform... Thanks again and beware... i have just move in and all this thing terrify me to the max! If Solex does not work, what else can we use? :( Out of curiosity, wat did the management do to prevent all this? Normally, wat time do these culprits do their 'job' arr?

hii...guys its really scared me too...in one day just few hours already break in so many units at block D. how to live in a peaceful apartment like this \"JALIL DAMAI APARTMENT\" now already no \"DAMAI\"....breaks in cases keep on happening....i seldom heard others apartments breaks in cases so often......one thing im curious what hv those guards doing? are they doing their job go rounding every block n every floor??? u thought we pay money every month for them to do nothing just to sit there n sleeping??? I think we must hv committee meeting to discuss about this problem. since i shift in till now keep happening breaks in cases. :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

my unit was one that was broken into on 9-11 06. According to my neighbour who left his place at 10am it was still ok and then he inform me when he was back at 4pm that my apartment was broken into. So it probably took place between that time. The security guards are suppose to do their rounds - can we ask management what time were the rounds and how frequently is it done that 5 units were hit and none of the security guards noticed anything ? I'm not sure if the rest broken into only discovered when they came back from work - but rightfully I should think that the security guards should already observed these breakins earlier once alerted at 4pm plus. According to my locksmith - they probably need to bang the deadbolt to have it opened - wonder with all that banging nobody noticed/heard anything ??? Anyone heard anything or seen anything suspicious should come forward with information. Its possible they whoever did it is a tenant here and observe our movements and may even be reading this post ! If we do not cooperate to fish them out - we are just living with the enemy and who knows when they will strike next. FYI for those who need to replace passport like me - pls have ready 1. 2 passport size photos 2. 1 copy original birth cert + 2 photocopies of it (must) 3. IC + 2 photocopies of it 4. Police report - 1 ori + 2 photocopies of it

hi weecm & redrogue, my advice is not to keep your valuables at home until the management do something different after this incident. in the past, the only solution done is changing the traffic flow and numerous security companies, which is ineffective. everytime there is multiple break-ins, the security company will be changed (everytime also say suspect internal job, even i can tell without asking the guards). The management shld seriously consider implementing the card access system and CCTV. So far, still playing tai-chi. It is not helping that the residents association is keeping mum. I hope they do more than just busy organising a deeparaya celebration.

SF, We know just to conduct the event is not going to help but at least it give you the channel to know each other. Do you think with us 8 people in a committee can create miracle. How about ppl from 900 over units in JDRA easy to get them together. This how we can get to know ppl stay in JDRA. Ok, if let say management refuse to implement and to certain extend we need to implement the card security system. Do you think how many from this 900 over units going to support and agree to paid. To fight for this is not one today job, we to prioritised action and plan. And up to certain extend we need to \"memogok\" outside developer and management who will with us. kalo mau mogok, bagi i advance notis. saya pasti sokong. sudah dua tahun kita dapat kunci tapi masih belum dapat cf. cf sementara pun sudah luput. setiap kali kena lanjutkan cf sementara, siapa bayar? guna duit penyelenggaraan ke? apa alasan pihak pengurusan tidak mengimbang kebaikan melaksanakan sistem kad pintar? apa gunanya menggaji begitu ramai jaga yang asyik berkelompok di pondok saja? katakan kos pemasangan penghalang otomatik dalam lingkungan rm25-30k, bukankah ini lebih kurang bersamaan gaji dua orang jaga bagi tempoh dua tahun????? dua jaga yang asyik memeriksa pelekat dan menahan kereta dengan menggadaikan nyawa mereka. apakah kos pemasangan sistem kad pintar di lobi blok masing masing? rm5k? bukankah itu gaji seorang jaga bagi tempoh 10 bulan atau kurang? jaga yang asyik bersantai depan pintu masuk dan ada kalanya tidur berdengkur. ambik gambar pun tak perasan. ataupun tiada wang? manakan pula tiada wang? bukankah semua orang perlu mengemaskini akaun mereka sebelum mendapat pelekat mereka? sebagai syarikat pengurusan yang berpengalaman, tidakkah mereka mengamalkan sistem kutipan yang efektif? ataupun wang ini digunakan untuk membiayai permohonan cf lanjutan? atau digunakan untuk membiayai projek yang terbengkalai? akaun yang terpapar di papan kenyataan adalah bagi tahun yang lalu. kenapa tidak akaun yang terkini? jika ada yang tidak membayar, siapakah mereka? buatlah macam kelab golf...... siar saja nama nama mereka? atau itu hanya alasan semata mata. kalau hanya mogok dapat menyedarkan mereka, saya kira elok itulah jalannya. saya yang memilh jawatankuasa ini dan sekiranya diputuskan sedemikian, saya akan menyokong pendirian ini.

hi sanling, finally! someone from RA commitee is here :) this is good news. i assume mogok is our last resort? i hope before we mogok, the committee have done their homework... for example, do we know what is the actual cost of the card system? hv the management company rejected the suggestion or just play deaf ears? if the management company says no money, then RA can ask the 900 units if they agree to chip in...put it to a vote...etc etc.. as pointed out dc below, there is no tranperancy in how the management company spend the maintenance fee collected, how much of the fee is not spent etc etc...the management company can say they hv no money but they hv to prove their point...show us proof. actually, can the committee share with us the progress of their action points? i feel that i m still talking about the same thing for many many months now...
