Hi, I heard 4 units not 2.... 2 units in block C and 2 in block B.. This time i heard they use the front door ... now this is getting really bad worse... I think we all need to do something about it ASAP....

Hi sha, I'm actually from Block E, so hope you won't mind me joining discussion here. I think those who are active in this forum will be willing to support the committee. Maybe some of the residents are not aware of any meetings if they are not in this forum. Hence, if there's any meeting between the committee & residents, we can put up a notice on the notice board to inform them. I strongly feel that the residents cannot afford to have the don't care attitude anymore since the number of break ins in at a high stage already and way beyond control. It's because the robbers & the mgt know we don't stand united, that's why they can break in so easily and the mgt delay in taking action and etc. As for the membership, is it a must for all residents to join? Coz some may not want to join, but at the sametime they don't mind giving their support the committee if there are any discussions. Just asking... And how can Zakaria even say Empat aje when there is suppose to be NONE?! So is he trying to say that the amount is low, so it's okay, when he says aje? And I seriously doubt is 4 aje since nearly every few days we hear of break ins.

Yep, its possible this forum is being watched. It seem coincidence once when I mentioned that we should keep track of the stats of theft and the stats at the lifts should be updated, the next day it was gone. Anyone know is that the management who did it or ???? btw how do u guys know about the 2 cases in block B and C - is that from the security guards, neighbours, management office or ??? What do u think about tracking statistics and more focus on security in this forum ? I had suggested to put into the main topic coz a theft in block C not only affects block C but whole of JDA. 3 threads: ----------- 1. CRIME REPORT Purpose - proper report so everyone know actually which floor / block was really hit. Perhaps some people would be able to provide information on some suspicious happenings prior to it. For those who do not have internet access to this forum, maybe can report it to those who have to help key on behalf or to committee members. Rightfully it should be reported to management office and police as well. For each occurance: DATE CRIME OCCURRED: ESTIMATED CRIME TIME: WHERE IT HAPPENED: (BLOCK, FLOOR) TYPE OF CRIME: Apartment Break-in, Car Theft, Petty Theft (small items - shoes, etc) HOW IT HAPPENED: Entered via Main door, Yard, balcony etc WHO WAS IT REPORTED TO: mgmt office, police etc ACTION TAKEN: police inspection etc WHAT WAS STOLEN: laptop, cash etc 2. NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH REPORT Purpose: we can start off a neighbourhood watch (not patrolling) but keep our eyes open and watch out and report on any suspicious person/activities. If we have records, then when any crime happens we may be able to relate these incidents. In any case, it also should be a message to our "insider" (if there's one) - we are going to be doing something and not be tidakapa and we are watching out for him/her. Its time for him/her to move out of JDA, no more business. JDA RA?
Hi Renee, Thank you for supporting to the RA. For all the meetings, we did photocopy and distribute to every units mailbox and there's once we even distribute the memo door to door in order to get everyone inform. Just asking... It is not a must to be JDA RA member, but my question is if everyone also refuses to become the member then what does RA stand from? JDA RA only stands from committee that without members? :roll: Something to remind all the residents, there are some committee even took leave to meet up the management & some authority department hoping there's a way out for JDA (Exclude myself). They are also residents who got to work from 8-5 and have their own family to take care of. Could really see, they did spent lot of time trying their best to sort out JDA problems without complaint. If without the support from members, how do this RA going to survive? I am sure at this time, management/developer/guards will be happy enough to see this JDA without any strength anymore. *Just 2 cents of my thought.*

Another BREAK IN
As block rep of BLOCK C, just received a sms from one of the residents. Thank you for her kindness information. SMS written as below : FYI. BET midnight till 6.30am this morning, C-5-8 (malay resident) was burglar - both spouse wallet taken + car key (car stolen). Went in through kitchen (immediate lot) climb over from corridor, cut padlock of already grill window of kitchen yard, wooden door forced open. Did not disturb resident sleeps. So for you, lock bedroom & toilet window (1 case went in)

I really think we should have electronic card system at our lobby la. No use having the guard sitting at the lobby when the buglars can escape thru the emergency exit at the side. Pls do push for it during the AGM tomorrow.

SF, thank you for your suggestion but the problem still comes back to JDA residents themselve. Really hope lots will turn up for the AGM and we really welcome all the new members. Fyi, till now there's only 150 members out of 930 units. Can you imagine that? Our own residents are being corporative enough.

i agree 100% with u sha, we the residents need to work together and stand united for our own better living. I wonder if we can publish those who have not joined as member :p and find out how many units are actually being rented out etc etc. It will be interesting to know these statistics :P
