Just make sure once you've got your wireless router / access point up, do the following :- 1) DON'T change your SSID, just leave it at DEFAULT. 2) Broadcast your SSID (ie., ENABLE broadcast on default SSID on the wrouter) 3) Put your wrouter near the window (ie., open space preferable) 4) DON'T change the DEFAULT admin account's passwd 5) DON'T encrypt your wrouter (forget about WEP; DON't enable WEP 128-bit encryption) THEN I'm pretty sure we'll ALL have a ball of a time!! 8) ./senyumsokmo

Hi, I have a friend who works for a StreamyX reseller. According to him, as long as we can accumulate 20 or more applications in same area, TMNET will get Telekom will pull the phone line and installed StreamyX station there. I have filled up my application. Whoever interested, you may also contact him at plus101@yahoo.com. His name is Vincent. He can come over to help us fill up the applications if we want to. You may also post your contact here for him to contact you if any of you are interested. (FYI, he's gonna be part of our resident soon, he's in Blk F) I think JDA should have more people who wants broadband and phone line. I just don't understand why Telekom couldn't see the demand here. Maybe they just following the book, no bulk order in one area, means no demand.. Hope this will really speed up the process for Telekom to pull the line over. Cheers, CH

there's apparently a tussle between the developer and tm at the moment with regards the maintenance of the cooling system for the multiple line exchange (sorry la... not technical savvy). committee is following up on the matter. just thought you people would like to know...
