Hi Dan, probably you're right, owners with units facing outwards may get better reception. :shock: sowkh, I went to TPM and I've been using it since a couple of months back and JD is supposed to on the edge of the reception area. They let me have it though.

ocpd, Thats what I observed. Maybe my face not handsome so they reject my application in TPM. However, managed to get through at Mid valley. I am going to return it to Jaring tomorrow. It is very unstable coz my balcony is facing swimming pool and blocked by Block C and B as I explained.... Hope to get the Fixed line and Streamyx ASAP. Miss the connection .............. my 2 cents

Hi all, I'm using DiGi's EDGE with an EDGE phone. Reception is quite good with download speed constantly reaching 20KB/s - 25KB/s. Staying in Block A 10th Floor. However i still missed my streamyx-ing day & lovely BT! my 10 cents. :lol:

Jaring Wireless Includes Jln Klang Lama
Just check Jaring website, n found out that they are covering Jln Klang Lama area, with the node at Pearl Point. Had look at the map, not quite sure did it cover our apartment or not this time... can someone please confirm? Is the service any better now?

Bandar Bukit Jalil is in the list, but can't view the map...

this seems pretty promising, I'm eager to try out this Jaring wireless service too myself, by the way, I'm facing the AFC, I'm on 14th floor block E, am I facing the "outside"? oh yeah, would like to hear more feedbacks from the rest of the Jaring Wireless users, that'd be helpful. p/s: yes I've also applied for the TELEKOM phone line 2 months ago.

k, I've decided to go for the Jaring Wireless and give it a try, gonna subscribe today and get the station soon.

it seems our area is using old klang road base station, i guess the signal is not strong enough... streamyx still my 1st choice as jaring got more and more complains now... anyway, cannot expect too much as jaring is wireless.

I've just return the wireless station to MIMOS this morning.... it doesn't work, 2 days ago I brought it home and tried it everywhere, even went over my balcony (I'm in block E, facing AFC, Stadium Bukit Jalil direction) and trying to receive any signal, but the thing just keeps on blinking amber light... been trying for 2 days, no signal at all, wasted my time and money... so depressed and so helpless.... yesterday asked the management about the phone lines, they told me its already in progress but still it'll take a month more!? ... sigh... I felt like moving to a new place.... :cry:

i think some of our neighbours did get the signal but i think they r facing seri kembangan/serdang base station. don't see their posting for quite long and no reply from them on my question on the signal strength earlier. they lost the signal as jaring has reduced the radius from 5kn to 3km recently??? :?
