CUKAI TANAH (DBKL)
Good Morning Fellow JDA, I have recently received a letter from DBKL on the CUKAI TANAH whihc comes out to be aorund RM468 per year. I think it is very expensive and almost the same amount for a landed property. Does anyone else face the same problem and can anyone advise on how go about to reduce this as I once heard the comittee was rejecting the notion. Cheers :lol: :

Hi Foo, Your CUKAI TANAH was reduced. Before this was more than 500. Only reduce a little bit. So make sure you attend the next week dialogue. We, the comittee still fighting for it. We need support from all residents. For the time being, please settle the CUKAI TANAH fisrt to avoid penalty. Regards, Tan

Hi Keith, Don't hope for the refund. If have also take time. Please attend the dialogue to get the answer.

DBKL Notis Cukai Pintu
Dear All, Pleased be informed that the hearing for reduction of cukai pintu is on November 23rd @ 2pm, 5th floor DBKL office. To those that have submitted surat bantahan to DBKL should hv received a notice fr DBKL "Notis mendengar bantahan" Those that hv not write in thier bantahan can send their bantahan to DBKL (fax & mail) if any of you need a sample of surat bantahan can PM me. do u attend last sat commitee dialog ? and next week v have a meeting wif DBKL office (23 Nov 05) time 2.30pm. U can call Surita to make urself attend that meeting.

Good News ! - Ur Cukai Pintu has been reduced :)
Dear All, Please be informed that the DBKL Cukai Pintu for Block F has been reduced to RM396 / year from RM468 / year. Again thank you to those that have attended the bantahan hearing on Nov. 23rd. To those who has sent "surat bantahan" wud received "notis kenyataan keputusan bantahan" or else wait for ur "Bil Cukai Taksiran" from January -June for half of the said amount. Thanks.

that is an even better rate than the other earlier bantahan for other blocks ? would it be revised to this rate also next year ?
