Faulty Bomba Lift
The Bomba lift at Blk E was down for more than 2 weeks since 26 /11/06. The very stupid given reason was missing parts (as posted on the notice board). Which 'genius' going to steal lift parts?? Seems like our apartment condition is getting worst; water leakage, noisy water pump, frequent water supply cut off..... Become an old unmanage low cost building soon.

This is so absurd, the lift parts can also be stolen whilst the security guard sit at the lobby of each block. This show that they cannot even be bothered with our houses!!!!

good luck block E folks...it took the management 3 months!!! to fix block D's lift the last time it broke down.....the management company blame the insurance company for the delay...

Yes. The reason is stupid. When we complain, what we want to know is only \"When it will be fixed\". We do not want to know whether the parts is missing or something else. As mentioned above, Block D lift repair work is due to delay of insurances company. I don't think the insurances is going to cover the incident of \"parts missing\". So what is the management waiting for? They don't have money to buy back the parts and ask the technician to repair? Or they expect the \"thief\" to put back the parts to the lift? I expected there is some problem with the other lift now. Heard some weird sound when taking the lift this few days. This happen also before the Bomba Lift Break down.

They are now probably waiting for the cows to come home then only fix the lift...... :lol:

i beleive the lift company (six sigma) hv a service level agreement with us. perhaps the RA commitee shld look at that and try find out what the management is trying to hide from us.

i almost get caught inside the bomba lift before it breakdown. That day, the lift going up slowly with weird sound. Then we heard the sound the lift body scratching the wall. The number of floor inside the lift switching between 4 and 5. Then dunno someone press open or how, the lift door open. I quickly jump out from the lift with my bf. Then the door close back and then i saw the floor number light above the lift off. The lift door cannot be open again and there are still many people inside. People inside the lift press the emergency button to ask for help. Then another couple who came out before us decide to walk down the stairs to seek for help. Then we realise we are just at 3rd floor.

If the lift was moving from the 4th to the 5th but actually let you out on the 3rd, it's probably the emergency mechanism at work. So if u feel a sudden jerk and the lift descends to the next immediate level, get out. Personally, I've been stuck in my lift twice. But thankfully on both the occasions, the emergency mechanism triggered within 5 minutes to let me out. There is a service agreement, no doubt. But once again, if BJD fails to make the requisite payment to Sigma, what do you think would be the consequence?

Darric, This issue may raise your blood pressure again... all these should be kept tab of and then if we can find somewhere to lodge a complain and maybe someone i.e. some Datok Or Datin or Nenek may help us here lah...
