noticed that there is a memo about the feeder bus, sticked in the notice board. It is good to hear that there is a public transport to reach our apt, eventhough im driving to work.... at least I can use it as alternative way to work if im lazy to drive :p

hi all,
when i bought the unit, bdj told me that there will be an extension of the lrt station from sri petaling to jalil damai. however, after 3 yeras, i can't even see the track! really disappointed with the promise. I need lrt to reach my office every day. after moving in, i have to drive after "abandoning" my licence for 5 years...really a nightmare to me!
however, the feeder bus is something to comfort me...

"there will be an extension of the lrt station"
should be
"PROPOSED there will be an extension of the lrt station"
:(

kee, i believe it is an "approved" station and not merely a "proposed" station. if i'm not mistaken, the line is supposed to pass thru bandar bukit jalil, puncak jalil, kinrara and all the way to puchong. but as you know, star lrt went into the red (it's now run by a rapid kl).
by the way, i do believe the initial line was constructed by ho hup... as part of the development of the commonwealth stadiums. that's also how they got the large freehold plot of land that is now known as bandar bukit jalil. but all that coffee shop talk la...

When the apartment was first lauched, it was mentioned as 'proposed' LRT station.
Anyway, the piece of land was owned by UEM if not mistaken as BJD was previously a JV company of UEM and Ho Hup. UEM was the largest shareholder of Ho Hup and presently is still holding some stakes (though it has been trying to sell off the shares but I believe no interested buyer then). Think this plot of land has nothing to do with the stadium project while the LRT project is supposed to be part of LRT extension project for Puchong area.

i stand corrected. thanks for the info, yenh!

Noted in some newspapers advertisements of some other property development that the LRT station is already approved. Question is when are they going to built it?!
katml- 06-21-2005
Extension of LRT has been approved long time ago,
This was applied by HO HUP with DBKL via STAR LRT.
And this is not gonna be a one day job.
BUT its true!. It takes several years to complete.
Moreover, the 2 1/2 storey project is still in the midst. So, I guest it'll wait till complete than only STAR LRT will work on it. And to built LRT is beyond BJD control. Furthermore, its not easy to work with M'sia govt bodies!!!
Before I sign the SPA, Sales from BJD already informed me that not to expect so fast. at least > 5years after JD APT complete!.
BE PATIENT and DONT EXPECT TOO HIGH!
