hi there guys, I just noticed about this forum yesterday during the "meeting", very nice indeed lol :lol: just wondering is there any students around here? I'm an IT student and I'm currently studying at APIIT in TPM, as you all know... IT = Internet stuff stuff... and now Jalil Damai doesn't even has freakin phone lines, my life is MISERABLE!!! I can't even do my assignments and stuff, and I can't even find any taxis around when I want one... grrrr... anyways, yesterday's meeting was good, get to meet some great people that's interested to make things better and stuff like that... we GOTTA GET THE TELEKOM PHONE LINE ASAP, OR I'LL BE MISERABLE!!! :cry: oh I'm stanley, in 14th floor, very high~~~ lol nice to meet ya all.

i realy have a lot of hope on the committee... things are not sactisfy at here.. the security.. the parking lot.. actualy i was thinking if can dun locate a rubbish bin at each floor.. cos recently i found out is smelly when i walk out the lift... just wory one day the cleaner not around or celebrate thier big day, then all the resident will suffer at each their own floor.. like previous place i stay (WANGSA MAJU apartment) all the resident need pack their rubbish and throw to the place which not in the building area.. which is a proper place will good for us.. im fren from 9th floor... nice meet u all... best regard..

impiao, a bin is only good if one uses it. :) the bins at each floor has a cover and ideally, whoever throw their rubbish should close the lit thereby reducing the stench. unfortunately, some people just throw their rubbish in the bin room without placing them in the bins... hence the stench. and if they can't even properly throw them in the bins at the respective floors, i don't think relocating those bins will make any difference. you may start finding garbage being deposited outside corridors, lift foyer etc. just my dua sen worth...

I was approached my streamyx agent and they told me i can apply for wireless streamyx. They will send someone to see if the place is viable for it within 21 days. If viable, then can can streamyx wireless broadband. The charge is RM99 per month for a 512kb speed line. If wireless , we can share the broadband , share the cost. Anyone interested? I can work within the same building. If we have 10ppl sharing, each only pay RM9 per month.

Hi, I was interesting to share the steamyx as well, if it really work please include me in your list. But sharing is a bit difficult if all of us not stay next to each other. Where are we going to put the access point? if pull the cable sure management not allow one. Anyway, please give me an update for any outcome. thanks!

it seems no progress update since the past few weeks.

heard that the commisioning of the equipment delayed because waiting till apartment gets full cf!!! committee waiting for official reply from tm. let's hope that's not the case.

The testing still on-going. Expected to completed by this week. Delay due to faulty controller card. Once the system commisioned, TM will set-up "open booth" @ JDA to assist with the registration. Will update once firmed.
