Hi Weesprit, Confusing....just spoke to TM Network Development (ND) Manager, the fiber system for JDA is yet to be commisioned. They still encountered problem during the end-to-end testing. The vendor (supplier) & TM group (ND & Switching) is trouble-shooting the problem. When you mentioned that you got your telephone line installed, it is CDMA (wireless)?

ya man... this is all so confusing. how come we are all getting different answers from different people? reading weesprit's post i gather that his fixed line (not wireless) has been installed... and that his streamyx is up and running whereas others are not. what's happening?

I think weesprit was quoting someone else's article, as he mentioned 'I read an article from ..... ' from another forum. That someone else is not from JDA, I think.

Good news everyone.....the fiber system has been commissioned. Telephone service is now available. TM will set-up the open booth at JDA whole of this week, Mon (5th Sept) to Sun (11th Sept) from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Cheers!

btw, the system is also equipped with 96 ADSL channels, so broadband lover better act fast.....

Finally...finally.....hey ho hum, on the Internet here we come ! Streamyx yes....Jaring no....Hey ho hey ho hum........ Fantastic.......signed up for Streamyx at TM and got everything in 48 hours. I asked the TM guys why it took so long for developers to set up the TM Room but they said that developers had set-up much earlier but TM had problem with the FO line from BJGCC because of "water logging"....what s##t is that I dunno. So the BJD people not bluffing, it was TM problem :D

Sunray, Are you sure, both services has been installed at your unit ? I was being told by the TM contractor who suppose to install at my unit yesterday, the line is not ready yet. I did told him your case but he confirmed that nobody from Jalil Damai get the services installed. Could you confirm ??

I registered tel line on 7 Sep and get installed the following day. Everything is running well. May I know anyone have the Streamyx installed. I applied but under waiting list as the port is full. BTW, I'm Streamyx agent. So anyone interested kindly contact me at 012-2001150. Regrads, TAN

i registered on 7 Sept as well plus streamyx and at that time Shamsul the guy handling my application said less than 20 people has applied for streamyx - so how is it the port is full. he also told me the installation will be within 2 weeks but so far no one called me - do we have to followup again - surely its on first come first serve basis ?

I think we should ask Sunray to confirm whether he actually got his streamyx installed, all within 48 hours. He has not responded to Max's query posted on Sept 7. Over to you, Sunray.

Just checked with Ms Sharliza again. According to her, they have problem with the contractor installing the equipment. Will be resolve soon.
