Wednesday September 3, 2008 MYT 7:12:34 PM Ho Hup suspends MD for alleged breach of duties KUALA LUMPUR: Ho Hup Construction Company Bhd suspended its managing director Datuk Low Tuck Choy for alleged breach of duties and responsibilities. The company was responding to a query from Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd on Wednesday requesting the reasons/details for the suspension. “We wish to inform that the managing director was suspended for certain alleged breach, commission and omission of duties and responsibilities,” it said. Last Friday, the board of directors of Ho Hup had resolved to suspend Low from his duties and responsibilities until further notice. It had also said that with immediate effect, the company and its group companies would be managed by an executive committee with Datuk Lye Ek Seang as its chairman.
