Dear All, Below is the list of JD Residence Committee as elected during the 1st meeting 29th May 2005: JALIL DAMAI RESIDENCE COMMITTEE PRESIDENT Mr. RAYMOND LOOI D 9 - 12 SECRETARY 1 Ms. SURITA S. SHIRLEY LOO B 12 - 7 Mr. CM LIM B 7 - 1 BLOCK C Mr. ALAN YEO C 8 - 3 Mdm. SHARON WONG C 8 - 10 BLOCK D Ms. KAT D 13 - 4 BLOCK E HO YEN HOW E 10 - 5 LEE CHOOI LENG E 5 - 12 We welcome others with experience (i.e in dealing with developer/housing assoc., apt. living) to volunteer as comm. members. To those that did not attend the meeting, below a summary of what being discuss yesterday: 1. Meeting starts @ 530 pm & number of residence attented is 53 (based on the attendence list) 2. Agenda of the meeting: a) to form Residence Committee & Block Reps. b) Collecting issues/problems - so far we hv collected 22 issues/prob as below: 1 Water Bill price per unit = RM0.70 (apt. rate) not RM1.20 (condo rate) & min. RM3/mth 2 Defect work delayed / not done properly 3 Security Guard noisy & more responsible carrying out duties 4 Swimming Pool slippery floors, faulty pool lights & steps inside the pool uneven+sharp 5 Segi Terang work after hrs, during weekends & holiday, harrass & threathens residence 6 LAD not getting paid 7 Telekom Line being told to be available July 8 Lift dirty, not working, faulty alarm & no air ventilation 9 Tenants cooperation to keep JD clean + follow all the house rules 10 Parking Bay requesting all parking bay to be covered & renumbered+plate #, leaking,flooded 11 Parking Stickers requesting all parking stickers to hv serial # & bay # + plate # 12 Garbage Dump garbage @ main garbage dump was not collected = stinky smell 13 Speed Bumps too high 14 Deposit for Renovation & Moving-in to reduce the renovation deposit & to abolish move-in deposit 15 Main Gate Enterance to JD to request main gate to be open - avoid que & unnecessary accident 16 Toilet clogged/not working for block A 17 CF TCF has expired = need to find out the status 18 DBKL Assessment will get the result by 10th June 19 Water pump faulty @ block A & very loud sound for block C 20 In-House Gas to find out when is it be available & the rate to be charged 21 Public Transportation to find out which bus # should service our area 22 Faulty Electric Meter meter move 1 unit a day for D-7-2 Meeting adjourn @ 630 pm. We will circulate to all each block Rep name & unit # in the mail box soon. Also pls inform us if there are any more issue/prob. not raised. Thanks, Surita

need some time to draft out the letter... lots of issues. just a poser... should we address all the issues or just issues relating to residents as a whole? some appear to be individual complaints (unit specific) which can be addressed generally i.e. that complaints by residents are not attended to promptly. what do you guys think?

ssh, futher to the draft letter to richman, perhaps we should request for them to provide us the following within 7 days: (i) copy of the master policy (insurance) and (ii) copy of the tcf renewal application cheers!

okay, ssh. for the benefit of the rest, we are finalising the letter to richman consultants and should be delivering the same early next week. we will post the same in the forum in due course. working together for a better tomorrow.
