on a personal note, the developer only paid lip service to my complaints (hardly surprising, though). they only did minor repairs and even then, they sure took their own sweet time
hardly did any rectification works to my apartment even after 3 mths (major complaint: hollow tiling. this will cause the wall tiles to fall off and floor tiles come off in a couple of years... ie AFTER the defect liability period). needless to say, i had to bring the matter all the way to the tribunal. story ends on a happy note, though no thanks to bjd. ;)

Darric, you mean BJD actually re-tiled for your unit after you went through tribunal? I am amazed. Some of my tiles are hollow but I didn’t pursue on that. I am more worried about piping leaking than anything else, and handling full force of ST team at the very early stage after VP delivery and a suspected broke-in case in my unit (of course BJD denied but thank God no vandalism) is enough to suffocating me. KSC, I hope you will have your problem resolved asap. Have a good day, cheers

nope, bjd DID NOT retile my apartment. got contractors to do so but made claim against developer. developer's lawyer released from stakeholder monies AFTER i file claim at tribunal. :)

err... at the end of the day, ksc, it was your perseverence that made the difference. but all the same, glad it has been fixed. :)

ksc, the 'stalactites' did the job? no more leaks?
KSC- 08-17-2005
dear darric,
stalactites may be not working for this matter, they fixed it with the ceiling clue. i also dun know wat type of clue they using ! Main point is no leaking then. Darric if u free u can come over to my parking bay, im sure u will scare looking at the ceiling..it is so ugly...and not 100% completed work. They need to come back and do the plaster work as well. Need to issue another warning letter to them . :x

i did. that's how i noticed to 'stalactites' dangling from the ceiling. well, at least the leak has stopped. ;)
