i felt this is very unfair, due to all this ppl who has a spacious parking lot on its own, so, they taking this advantage to park illegally.
and first and foremost, with this illegally parking, our management no action taken UNTIL (maybe) someone complaints ONLY they starts clamping la this and that la....and bla..bla...bla....
we all know very well how our mgmt works, so cant blame or talk much about them, BUT wat bout our Pro tem Com....?! I'm sure they notice it while going in/out everyday within the block. why no post forum or some words speak out....?! (hmmm.....maybe there is but WE dunno)
like what zzhaynee says, they work differently from the ex-com member.
will wait and see.....than....
thirdly note to dan,
if you need somebody to help out on the circulation of the articles do PM me. I'm willing to do it for all blocks. (i'll do it door to door basis).

gud job dan! i've read it yesterday. According to the articles, the mgmt tried to put the blame on the tenure who had not pay their maintenance fee. So, guys....make sure that we do our part ,so we dont get backfired at the end of the day!....

Whether we pay or not is the resident's business but it is the Management's job to make the resident pay.
The true definition of property management is to get the resident to pay their maintenance fees, this quote is said by the board chairman of valuers' appraiser and estate agent whereby this include all property managers.
This means whatever comments said by our beloved management has backfired upon themselves!!

Just some update:
Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation is aware about the situation in JDA. Mr Choong, the administrator of MCPF will bring up the issues of JDA to the committees of MCPF. According to him, the key person to be blamed for security is the management.
He will keep in touch again for further action.

For your info, one of the director of Bukit Jalil Development Sdn Bhd is Tan Sri Dato Lee Lam Thye and he is also one of the exco member of Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation.
Keep my finger cross that this is fruitful and will bring along some changes at JDA.
By the way, the lawyers have confirmed the meeting on Thursday but venue and time yet to confirm.

Discussion on legal action against developer and management due to their negligence.

Sad to know that the counsel who will help fight the case has an urgent court case to attend outstation. Anyhow, we will discuss with this lawyer first then proceed to the next step.

I am staying in block c. my block has 2 idiots also park 2 car at 1 car park.
One is at ground floor, at those car park right hand beside the security guard always sit place, you may see from the road.
The other one is at 1st floor, right hand site immediate out from 1st floor lift.
The guard should be aware of it since this 2 car park is so close to them but they just doing nothing.

For your info, between 6pm to 6.30pm someone from the Management Office has just went around the 6 blocks to remove the Malay Mail article from the notice board.
Anyone interested to distribute the newspaper article to all homes letterbox??
I will prepare the notices but I just need help to distribute to all the residents of the 6 blocks.

公寓保安疏漏居民惶恐

破門行竊案件接二連三發生,居民寢食不安,要求保安人員提升保安措施。
(吉隆坡29日訊)加里爾達邁公寓居民投訴,竊匪白天潛入幹案,利用萬能匙開啟無人在家的單位后,竊走屋內重要財物,最高紀錄是一天連環破竊5單位。
單是今年內,該公寓共發生逾43宗破門行竊,令居民不滿的是,公寓有保安人員駐守,仍頻頻發生爆竊案。
位于武吉加里爾鎮的加里爾達邁公寓,共有6棟逾960個單位,去年初開始有居民入住,雖然該公寓設有管理層及保安措施,可是保安並不森嚴,今年內卻接二連三的發生破門行竊案,令居民提心吊膽。
怕麻煩沒報警
據悉,竊匪專門選擇同一類型的門鎖為幹案“目標”,而且還選在受害者蒙頭大睡的清晨,或居民外出的白天時分幹案,將住家內的財物洗劫一空。
由于當地破門行竊案非常猖獗,部份受害者還連遭洗劫2次,不過大部份受害者卻基于怕麻煩心態,不願報警,以致警方及管理層不曉得當地治安已亮紅燈,進而沒有加強保安措施。
《今日隆雪》接獲居民投訴后,便到當地了解情況,發現當地保安疏漏,記者進入公寓時,保安人員竟沒向記者索取身份證查詢及登記,便讓記者進出自如。
管理層指示保安員
加強巡邏登記訪客
保安人員值勤趁機“小睡片刻”時,被居民用相機拍下。
加里爾達邁公寓管理層已指示保安人員加強保安措施,包括登記探訪者的身份證號碼及車牌,並提高巡邏公寓的次數,使竊匪無機可趁。
該管理層發言人指出,管理層共聘請了15名保安人員,並採用早晚2班輪班,全天候看守當地公寓及居民的安全。
“早上7時至傍晚7時,共有7名保安人員值勤,傍晚7時至早上7時則有8名保安人員值勤,同時保安人員每小時都會巡邏公寓每層的單位。”
詢及居民要求增聘保安人員,以便能加派人手加強公寓保安一事時,他說,由于資金有限,加上部份居民尚拖欠管理費,以致管理層無法增聘保安人員。
欠儲備金裝電眼
他提及,管理層基于上一批的保安人員素質欠佳,服務水準無法達至令人滿意,管理層于2個月前更新另一批保安人員。
他接受《今日隆雪》電訪時,這么表示。
他也強調,管理層計劃于未來安裝自動門柵及閉路電視,以保障居民的性命及財物安全。
“可是,基于目前該公寓的儲備金不足,尚有部份居民沒繳付儲備金,管理層仍無法安裝有關保安措施,希望居民盡速繳付有關欠款,以便管理層能盡速安裝有關保安系統。”
裝警鈴換門鎖
★受害者李麥麗(26歲,銀行職員)
竊匪專門選擇使用特定門鎖的住家為幹案“目標”,並趁居民外出時,竊走居民價值不菲的財物。
我本月9月傍晚6時30分許回到住家時,發現鐵門及木門各2個門鎖被撬開,客廳及主人房內都有被人搜查過的痕跡。
經我計算后,我共損失逾3萬令吉,包括現金6500令吉、金飾、國際護照及名錶等。
竊匪是趁白天,我與丈夫外出工作時,前來幹案,同時,我探悉,當天也有另4戶當地居民的住家也遭破門行竊,所以我不排除是同樣的竊匪幹的。
在案發后,我馬上向蕉賴警區報案,警方事后也前來調查,惟迄今有關調查報告仍未出爐。
過后,我向管理層投訴,並要求他們出示當天值勤保安人員的工作表及相關資料,對方迄今仍無法提供給我。”
為了加強保安,我丈夫為住家安裝警鐘及撤換所有的門鎖,確保匪徒無法輕易得逞。
