LAD follow up !!
Just got info from office. They are preparing cheque whoever accepted their proposal. For those who rejected proposal, MUST open a file at Tribunal and with Award by the President. Only they look into your case.

Have anyone collected your LAD claim?.

No, every time I call, they just ask me to wait and will call me once cheque is ready. It's been 3 weeks since they start calling me to tell me that they start preparing cheque.

Hi teobc, may i know who are they calling you past 3 weeks. A/C dept or Marketing Dept?!

There's this lady Puan Zai. She called me 3 weeks ago, saying that she need to know who shd be payee of the cheque (joint name). Then after that I called her a few times, she still tell me cheque is under processing at the HQ. What about you? Whom do u speak to normally?

The developer preparing/processing the cheque? Yeah, I heard this story many times over! They can lie to us sometimes but not all the time! How do they want us to trust them now?

yeah...its true just lie and after hanging up the phone...thats case close. This is what i got in the past, entertained by Mr Hwang. But after Andrew took over. Is a little bit much better. Zai is in-charged of Blk D, E and F. Neera is in-charged of Blk A, B and C.

So katml, do u hv any idea are they "really" preparing cheque this time? It's been 3 weeks since I was told that they start "preparing" Anyway, I already sent letter to bhg pengawasan to report them (failed to comply with Tribunal Award). Can't keep on waiting...

Hi Teobc, I've collected my LAD cheque today with 100% claim. Because I've rejected their proposal. You should call Zai about your matter. They can now explain better to you on the status and no lie anymore perhaps. By the way, did you accept or reject their proposal?!... When did you got the Award anyway?!... I've missed my hearing once in end of Jan'05 and forced to re-open file. Did you notice that whenever you check your hearing date, Tribunal officer will ask who is your developer ?!!..... Might be something on within govt bodies and developer, i guess........ As I heard that Ho Hup has a big project JV with govt in India....

Hi Katml Congrats on finally receiving your claim. How long between the time you got the award and when you received you cheque? Did you collect the late interest charge of 8%. as I am sure the did not pay you within 30 days of the award? Don't give chance. If need be go to the tribunal and file a new case. I just got my award last friday 15th April. What happens next? Will the tribunal send the award to the developer or are we supposed to collect it and send it ourselves.? Regards

Hi Philipt, As I said, I've missed the hearing date. hence, I didnt have any Award. Tribunal forced me to re-file. I did re-file and my case is still in que. I collect my cheque is not due to Tribunal's help. Is because I'm barking them till they feel irritating.

For those who received Award and yet to received payment after grace period. You need to highlight the matter to Ministry of Housing. Enclosed herewith a sample of letter to Ministry of Housing for their action. ___________ ____________________________ ____________________________ ____________________________ ____________________________ Bahagian Pengawasan dan Penguatkuasa Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan, Blok B Utara, Aras 3 Pusat Bandar Damansara Peti Surat 12579 50782 Kuala Lumpur. Tuan/Puan, KETIDAKPATUHAN AWARD: TTPR________________________________ PIHAK PENENTANG: ______________________________________________ Adalah saya/kami merujuk kepada perkara di atas. Berhubung dengannya dukacita, dimaklumkan bahawa Pihak Penentang tidak mematuhi Award yang telah dikeluarkan oleh pihak Tribunal bertarikh ____________, salinan Award dilampirkan. hi katml, You are wonderful... manage to get 100% LAD from them without going through Tribunal??? When did u get your cheque? No, I didn't accept their offer and also got the Award from the Tribunal, but not receive the cheque yet

Note to Philipt, You received Award on 15.04.05, so, you have to wait till 30 days grace period due than follow up with the letter to Ministry of Housing (sample attached in previous mail). Note to teobc, You are much more luckier than me, cos with the Award you are entitle to claim the 8% late payment charged after 30days period. But after grace period you still have to write up the letter to Ministry (same steps as Philipt). Note to All; Make sure you BARK or SHOUT on the RIGHT person. No point telling grandma story to "Zai" or "Neera". They are only staff and no authority. Talk to Andrew Peris instead, If he brings you "merry go round", look for finance manager or BOD. You can do the same as i did. I highlighted the matter to BOD. Letter contents-poor management, bad service, and attitude. Just express whatever things that is not satified.

What I've been told is they are preparing cheques for purchasers who accept 80% claim only. For those who claim 100% must have Tribunal Award. Remember! This is your insurance in case you cant get your cheque.
