hi mlchow, I rejected the 80% offer and insisted on 100% payment via a formal letter to the developer, cc to my personal lawyer (sent by registered mail). I have been following up by calls. According to Mr. Mok from the developer office, my cheque should be ready sometime next week. Keeping my figures crossed.

hi all, Yesterday I was refered to a person called miss chow in the a/c dept from Niera to check the pay cheque arriving from hq status. Due to heavy rain in yesterday evening, miss chow said the office boy is not able to back to tmn desa office. She promised to call for me to hq in case the office boy didn't bring back my pay cheque by today. Today i called taman desa office, the person who pick up the call told me that miss chow has leave the company and yesterday was her last day. FXXX !!! How could she cheat me by giving promise will follow up for me on the next day. I am going to call Niera and shout for this !!! Damm poor arrangement !!!

Submitted LAD claim to tribunal only recently and received a call from developer office yesterday asking us to withdraw our claim and promised to issue cheque to u within 2 weeks. I asked for a formal letter from them but still feel doubtful though they claims that many have accepted their arrangement on this. Or else we will hv to wait for the award then. Just afraid that they do not fulfill their promise (and we all know how irresponsible is this developer) and later will be quite troublesome to resubmit to tribunal again. Any advice or in fact any1 has accepted such arrangement? btw, they did mention that not many in Block D & E have actually filed to tribunal and in fact many have accepted their earlier 80% offer.

my personnel adv, do not trust them. Cheque within 2 weeks? Fat hope!!! I rejected their 80% offer and demand full payment. Been quite a while and hv been chasing Nehra. She informed that the cheque is prepared and waiting signature from HQ. To get the cheque signed like ages as though the bosses are more busy than PM....

pk, thx. in fact that is what i think so but just wondering any1 has been given a cheque under such arrangement since they claim that many have. btw, just to make it clear, they are willing to pay 100% of LAD claim since we have filed to tribunal and definately we should not tolerate on any discount.

yenh, That's what the folks say...but for myself I did not go to the tribunal. Instead I wrote to them personally declining their offer and request fully payment. Cheers!

a word of advice... just file in your papers at the tribunal and attend the hearing. when u get the award, they will have to pay u otherwise write in to the housing ministry. i think we all know how much their promises are worth...

Hi Vinloo, First of all, are you eligible for the LAD ? Secondly, have you accepted the offer from the developer ? If your answer for 1) Yes and 2) No then please filed a case with Tribunal.
