Water Meter- Individual reading....
Hi, We should request that SYABAS (Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd) read the water meters INDIVIDUALLY like what TNB does...

I would suggest not necessary. Cos, I've called SYABAS and inquiry about this matter. The rate they told me is about $1.85/cu charged developer. I guess SYABAS do differenciates developer bare cost and individual resident cost. Note: rate charged to developer is due to the swimming pool and its based on certain cu.

RM30 for 5 months
We moved in Feb 2005, but took the keys from developer in Oct 2004. So i guess our unit is being charged RM6 per month (minimum charge) from Oct 2004 till March 2005.

Hi guys, Just to check whether there is any news with regards to the water charges? I've received a bill for 15/10/2004 to 15/03/2005 amounting to RM30, which I've yet to pay.

hi hi Water charges are RM1.20/cu & minimum RM6 That is why most of us that just move in got a billing of RM30 (RM6 x 5 mths) At this point of time we hv not received formal reply fr the mgmt Will update all as soon as we got a formal reply. Thanks

so meantime we do wat???? no need pay water bill??? if pay nanti cannot get refund. if dun pay nanti they cut water supply. how lei???

hai all, i received a water bill yesterday...the bill charges me 32.40 for 15/3/05 -15/5/05 ..is shud be high already ..becos my last apartment also 24.00 two mths for 3 ppl stay...now only 2 ppl for 32.40 ...a bit high lah....and also.the bill is given yesterday but meter reading base on 15/5/05 ....if 23/6/05 another new meter reading already lah . How come they need one mth time to process the water bill.....or saja buat tipu????If need to check also difficult becos the reading is different already from 15/5 till 23/6 ..ai ya?So how abt u all ?

i tink next time kalau hujan, we all haf to beli tempayan tadah air.... do our part jimat air.

Comparing others Apt water charged
Hi all, I have a photocopy SYABAS water billing from other apartment with swimming pool and security guard. The bill was billed direct to individual owner by SYABAS and NOT by Developer. :roll: Rate is 0.57 cu. :evil: :twisted: *Kod Tarif: 10 *Jenis Bacaan: N *this kod and jenis bacaan is refering to the category of the rate respectively. The rate charged is much cheaper than my previous apt with NO guards and swimming pool and other facilities (ie. $0.70/cu). :shock: Maybe this information could help us to investigate further..... But instint....rate charged $1.20/cu to JD Apt has nothing do with developer.... Its SYABAS matter. :x (Very intransparent system). Hi guys, Assuming the minimum water charge is RM6 per mth. OK.. fine...the bill shd be RM30 for 5 months. I've received a bill for 15/10/2004 to 15/03/2005 amounting to RM80!!! (Of course, I've yet to pay) FYI, I've moved in to my apt on 28/4/05. I am wondering how could it be so expensive with an extra of $50?? And as of today, since my block got no water supply and sometimes seeing water gusting out fr our block too.. Wondering the charges could be shared by individual units???

My advise is better to hold on your water bill till further notice. Bcos, once your bill settled, you may not get back the refund IF they reduced the rate. Latest updates from Dhyan, Developer is in the midst of investigating the rate issue with SYABAS.

Dear all, I just got my water bill (dated 15-3-2005 to 15-05-2005), cost at RM 45.00!!!!!!!!!!!!.. I get shocked when saw the bill.. it is really extremely high for me. I was staying in shop house @ Kuchai Lama before shifting here. It only cost me at RM5 to RM6 per month. There are only 4 ppls at my apt... and most of the time we are out.... Furthermore, we DO NOT use any washing machine. ... Can anyone tell me how it charge ? I really don't wish to pay the bill .. :( :cry:
