just finished renovation and waiting for renovation deposit back which was stuck at mgmt office for 2 weeks bcoz Dhyan resigned and now dev office will take at least another week - so hope to finish the last leg. My contractor said they only allow outside contractor company to do only 1 unit of renovation (is that true?) and have to pay "tax" to ST but my renovation no troublelah.

hi all,
was just reading through all this post made these past few months. i am moving in end of december - block C. the house now have nothing at all, no water heater, no aircon. i tot of installing it, but seems like need to ask for approval from mgmt? can someone enlighten me on this?
any recommendations on anybody who can do this? i mean aircon wiring and water heater.
p/s:i am renting the house oni. i am not very experienced in all these stuff :(

u need to submit the application form, together with some amount of deposit(not sure how much now). I think u can fight for deposit waived since u r doing minor wiring work only.

Deposit = RM300 for minor job (move in + installing air-cond and Water Heater)
