TM phone line & Streamyx

Hi, I have a friend who works for a StreamyX reseller. According to him, as long as we can accumulate 20 or more applications in same area, TMNET will get Telekom will pull the phone line and installed StreamyX station there. I have filled up my application. Whoever interested, you may also contact him at plus101@yahoo.com. His name is Vincent. He can come over to help us fill up the applications if we want to. You may also post your contact here for him to contact you if any of you are interested. (FYI, he's gonna be part of our resident soon, he's in Blk F) I think JDA should have more people who wants broadband and phone line. I just don't understand why Telekom couldn't see the demand here. Maybe they just following the book, no bulk order in one area, means no demand.. Hope this will really speed up the process for Telekom to pull the line over. Cheers, CH

TM (Imp Group) confirmed SDF room (equipment room) is ok. Installation of equipment schedule next week. Targeting RFS (ready for service) mid Aug. Will follow-up and update accordingly. Cheers!

Spoke to Cik Shaliza (TM Marketing) earlier. She will help to push for the system to be commisioned on time or earlier. She will also arrange for TM personnel to be at JDA to assist with the registeration once telephone service is available. Cheers!

yes, I've also applied for the TELEKOM phone line early last month, hope that they'll come and install the cables soon, been dying for Internet Connection...

It is posible to have streamyx and phone line install at once? I don't want to have phone line and wait for streamyx month and month. I seldom use the fix line since I have hand phone.

I don't think thats possible, usually you'd get your fixed line first, then it'll take another amount of time/days/months before the streamyx service comes... I've also applied for the streamyx service even though I haven't got the line, I've met this streamyx agent and what he told me was when we submit our registration forms, they're mostly in the waiting list, its ok if you haven't fill in the phone line first, just deal with it after you got your line, if you plan to register the streamyx service after you got your line, that'd take longer time for the streamyx to come of course. btw, have you applied for the Telekom fixed line yet? if no, please do so. :wink:

Hi, GOOD NEWS.... :D Two days ago at about 11am, I notice that there is a 3tan lorry stop infront of Block A & they are unload a lot of boxes,metal casing into 1 of the M&E Room at Block A & When I ask them, they said all of that is the equipment for set-up the Telekom Fix line...So, I think BJD will going to have fix line soon. ~ sorry for not asking when they will install it coz rush to go 4 appointment. :( Can somebody checked for this? TQ
