TV reception my unit at level 5 have bad tv reception, just wana to check if your tv screens are always in winter mode too.

i found that there r two plug point on the wall,
one is for tv and another one is for satelite.
do anybody know the is the satelite plug point for astro??
and do we need to register first and how??

the TV socket is for tv , as usual just plug and link to your tv "ant input jack"
satellite point in general is the microwave signal received via the receiver from the satellite/transmission tower ( TV and Satellite signal are basically alike, only the technology and frequency spectrum are diff ). as Jalil Damai Apartment is concern, the satellite signal is refer to ASTRO signal
you cannot " SEE " ASTRO by just plug in your cable, you need the signal decoder that provide by the service provider that is ASTRO.

hi - just need to make a quick survey.
i just want to find out if there is anyone out there, WITHOUT astro, who has clear 8TV reception - no snowflakes or lines running across.
Did anybody lose their TV3 and 8TV reception on Sat 3rd Sept? I DO NOT have astro, and all along my tv3 is clear. However, on 3rd Sept (Saturday), the tv3 and 8TV channels just disappeared and all i can see are snowflakes.
My 8TV has been blur all along, and the quality just varies from time to time but watchable. Anyway, I took this opportunity to call Mr. Yap on Mon 5th Sept. The TV3 returned to normal on Tues or Wed (i forgot which).
Someone came over on Sat (10th Sept), and I was told that 8TV is not under them because when this development started, 8TV did not exist. They also said that the reason TV3 disappeared last sat COULD BE due to their workers working on something and forgot to reconnet the wires or something. They have informed the management, and not surprisingly, the management omitted to inform us. They must have reconnected the wires on Tues and Wed when I found my TV3 again. Anyway, I was advise to buy a good internal antenna to have clear 8TV reception.

Dear all,
I have been using an external antenna (the type which costs around RM30 and uses power supply)for my TV and so far all channels can be received with mixed quality. 8TV is the clearest, while TV2,TV3, and NTV7 is abit snowy but stil watcheable.
I have not used the TV antenna socket point on the wall at all.

The TV Wall Plate might out of order. just unscrew it to find out yourself or just call Mr. Yap to replace. BJD didn't install TV 8 antenna, for those don't have astro, external antenna will be the alternative solution.

Does anybody know if Mr. Yap is still in charge of our TV reception and Astro? I do not have astro. Lately my TV2 and NTV7 reception is very, very poor. They used to be very, very clear.
I think there is something wrong with my TV plate connection but I don't know how to check.

TV recept i spoke to 1 of the constrctor last few week that the antenna up our head is out of order. remember a night that storm fall and the shah alam got flash flood, there is the night where teh antenna up our head got strike and out of order. I asked them when can it be done. They said need to wait the insurance claim. I just wandering shy need to wait till the insurance claims only can do the thing. I just wandering the maintenance fees that we paid is it worth?
For the 8 tv, they used special receiver wher BJM yet installed. Need money. Where is the money we paid go? CAn somebody let us know the siytuation need to wait until when? Should the committe bring up this issues to the BJM. Not everybody got ASTRO la.... :x :?:

I reported to mgmt office on 1 week++ ago. The receiption is on the tv si still very bad. The mgmt will try to resolve within 2 weeks times.

apa lagi, our BJD not solve the problem and said that insurance yet paid the central reception at our roof top. how long they want us to wait ha????? :x it is not worth that we pay the maintenainet fees every month....pls ask the committe preseident to sit and talk to BJD

I understand that the MATV is up, pls do check urs, if not ok go to maintenance office to complaint. I heard that they need to compile the complaint
