guys, sorry to have to add to the neverending list of topics but i do think this deserves its own forum.
for the records, the stretcher lift at block A was not functioning this morning, 01/06/2005. sure hope it's not a case of taking the spare parts out of one to fix another.
people, please confirm how many lifts are working at your blocks. it's amazing that the apartment is less than a year old and yet the lift has broken down so many times!!! think i'll call the people at sigma to check out what the real problem is.
by the way, if the management happens to read this posting, there was no storm last night so the breakdown of the lift at block A COULD NOT HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY LIGHTNING. |

hi,m at 4:45PM,I met DHYAN & notice that He also just notice that the 1 of the lift (Block A)is not fuctioning since last nite told by 'INDIAN'Guard. & Dhyan Tell the guard he should told he much more eairler. So later on,I think Dyan do call the lift technician coz after 1 hour, the lift is ok already.
So, next time, I think if anybody if notice any problem regarding lift, he/she better just inform DYAN so that he can take fast action.
It seem that Dhyan this time do the right thing in right time... ..hope will keep this kind of speed to settle our other problems. 8) |

what I would like to say here's not only to inform Dhyan, but everybody also can do thier part of job. Just dial the number pasted on Notice Board, there's Sigma Tel. no. Just pick up your Handphone and make a call, and it cost you less then a download ring tone. Am I Right? _________________ Sigh... it's so tired to be a house buyer in m'sia.... |

people,
just spoke to mr teng of sigma (service). he was most obliging. according to him, the malfunction of the lifts is due to lightning strike because the developer did not install lightning protectors for the lifts. he also informed me that management has approved the installation of such protectors (for all the lifts). i think the cost of this should be forked out by the developer and not from the residents' maintenance account!!!
the reason why some lifts are still not functioning is because management has not approved payment for the spare parts. apparently, the warranty does not extend to "acts of god" eg. lightning strikes. no wonder we have lifts out of order for months...
so people, now that you have both sides of the story, you know who to bark at. responsible developers? you decide... |

Seen like developer try to wait until warranty expired and we have to pay for the repair _________________ Sigh... it's so tired to be a house buyer in m'sia.... |

| yup. the truth is ALL the blocks lift got problem. but i think the biggest problem lies with the management. ssh, if we still do not get a satisfactory answer from management, i think we should write directly to sigma to seek their explanation. |
