Dear all,
did anyone facing water leaking problems? this is the second i facing the same problem at 2 diff place in my kitchen. First, they said is the renovation job cost the paiping at the kitchen leaking (just above the sink).
Second, the leaking is at the enterance (from living area to kitchen). the water is falling down from the ceiling so i think this is cause by the renovation work right?
i think all of you may aggree since the first day we move in to Jalil damai, we do not have the sweet home for us to rest after worked. renovation problem, installation problem, late delivery payment problem, life breakdown problem, ST security problem........now, holly water from the sky.......
When all of this bad luck are going to end????? _________________ Shawn Lim |

wat? between the kitchen and the living room? i never encounter b4.
I have encountered b4 i move into JDA, thats was water leaking on the ceiling in my toilet, but i think it should be upstair doing some renovation, the problem solved already after few days. I think u better go upstair and check what happen, and contact the management. So that , the Indonesian guy will help you to find out what causing that problem. |

Shawn, better get the developer rectify it before the 18 months warranty expire.
Seems like your neighbour upstairs need to take the responsibility in coordinating with the developer since the water leaking from their unit.
to Tazztan, the leaking problem solved automatically? is it bcos they have rectified it or just bcos they don't use the toilet(they have not move in yet or they just use the other toilet)?
if the answer is second, the leaking problem may come back again when they start using the toilet that causes the leaking problem. |

When my master bedrrom ceiling encountered water slippage problem(upstair flooded), I was informed by BJD contractors that only kitchen and bathroom ceiling is water proof.
If your leaking is from piping (those not concealed) than it is easier to rectify, otherwise, hacking may be required to find out the reason for the same. Should faster get management to investigate the problem.
18 mths defect liability period do not applied to those defects which failed/cannot be identified during such period. You may argue with BJD but unless they do it for you out of goodwill, if not, contractually they are not liable. So pray hard the unit immediately above you move in ASAP |

| There's a water pipe runing somewhere coming in from the middle of our main door. it will branch out to the kitchen and bathrooms. If it's leaking from the top, they have to hack from the upper floor and fix the leak then cover them back (including the tiles).. Speaking through experience. So hope your upper floor not occupied yet. But it can done in two days (have to wait for the concrete to dry) |
