Dear all,

I just got my water bill (dated 15-3-2005 to 15-05-2005), cost at RM 45.00!!!!!!!!!!!!.. I get shocked when saw the bill.. it is really extremely high for me. I was staying in shop house @ Kuchai Lama before shifting here. It only cost me at RM5 to RM6 per month. There are only 4 ppls at my apt... and most of the time we are out.... Furthermore, we DO NOT use any washing machine. ... Can anyone tell me how it charge ? I really don't wish to pay the bill .. Sad Crying or Very sad

Hi Miki & Kee

I think your water bill is still O.K. Average only about RM12.00 per person. Mine's unbelievable high RM24.00, using w/m only once a week.

I have noticed the same topic posted by other residents earlier. The management is charging us water bill based on condos rate RM1.20/ CU. Jalil Damai is registered as apartment. The rate should be lower. I am joining the club. I AM NOT PAYING FOR THE WATER BILL.

But, will they our cut water supply if we do not pay? Yesterday late morning until noon no water again - while I am cooking my Italian feast!

Can we ask the management to show us the prove (letter from PUAS) that the rate is RM1.20/m2 ?

Yeah.. i did call Dhyan yesterday, he didn't pick up the phone.. guess he don't want to entertain us during weekend ?

I really don't wish to pay the bill without verifying whether it's charge correctly.

What about u, MeeYee and Kee, have u pay the bill (15-03-2005 to 15-05-2005) ?

Guys... I've posted my forum earlier as below. After reading what u guys commented, i guess my water bill is way too expensive compare to u guys!!!
I've received the bill fr 15/3 to 15/5 n is $21. We are only 2 ppl at home. We do use washing machine, but that was only twice a week. I dont even cook and most of our time are out for work.

Sigh!! well, i guess we got no choice... just to hold the bill first like u guys do.

Hi guys,
Assuming the minimum water charge is RM6 per mth. OK.. fine...the bill shd be RM30 for 5 months. I've received a bill for 15/10/2004 to 15/03/2005 amounting to RM80!!! (Of course, I've yet to pay)

FYI, I've moved in to my apt on 28/4/05. I am wondering how could it be so expensive with an extra of $50?? And as of today, since my block got no water supply and sometimes seeing water gusting out fr our block too.. Wondering the charges could be shared by individual units???

My water bill also on the high side...and I really cant find explanation to it based on my usage Sad If you have received your previous bill which show minimun charge of RM6 per month, you may perhaps want to average out the monthly charge....in case the management undercharged for previous months and now recouped it into your current bill.

I am getting management (Jusman is the person in charge) to open up the water meter closet this saturday to check. My greatest concern is the way these pipes are connected and I cant tell if there is any intercept along the way....the pipes running look very confusing to me. May be I am just too prudent but hopefully the management also allow me to view how the piping is run by using my own consultant.

I also received my water bill last week, it cost me RM38 from 15/03-15/5, I think it's a bit expensive, so I called my friend who also staying apartment to check whether their water bill also charge like that, they said their minimum charge is RM5. what should I do, don't pay the water bill first, or discuss in this coming meeting?
