Hi Max,
They are in the midst of installing centralised dish for all blocks, starting with BLOCK B.
So, you engaged the external contractor or Segi Terang for the renovation? |

Latest updates from Dyan, Jalil Damai Project Supervisor.
LPG need approval by Petronas before installation.
Obviously, a sum of deposit have to be paid before Petronas approved and this is why the developer still have no news about this matter....meantime...Developer is short of funds....therefore, they are unable to get things done.
If we utilise the LPG, we need to pay a minimum charges monthly, and I'm very sure they will mark up the rate to an extremely high compares to other apartments or in the market.
BECAUSE DEVELOPER IS FACING FINANCIAL PROBLEM AND THEY NEED OUR $$$ TO ROLL !!! _________________ Katml |

| Telephone line will be available in July or earlier. I have checked with Telekom and the reason for the late installation was due to developer submitted the application LATE to Telekom. |

1. ASTRO - the connection provided by developer does not work fully as they claim n i had to fight for my right to fix my own dish. Believe me, this is not t only aprt tat i stayed in with similiar prob. Do what u think is t best as at t end of t day, its your hse. T centralized dish cost $$$$$$$$$ n during distruption n repair, most developers just wash their hands on repairing it. I don't want to take any chance on this. ITS MY HOUSE N MY DISH.
2. TEL. LINE - most probably somewhere in june...........hopefully not another empty promise. |

I agree with Mrs Dass. If the grand old Management can't do a hoot about something as simple as getting in ASTRO proper, we should just go ahead and do it ourselves.
As much as I hate to bypass management (and all this bureaucratic crap; excuse me!) in this way but if they sit on their butts and act "garang" and do nuts AFTER all the suggestions and finally complaints being put through and yet do NOTHING, IMHO, we should just go ahead and do what's right for ourselves. Like Mrs Dass says, this is our own house, we're not refugees staying and living on charity.

| i know i'm gonna stir up a hornet's nest here but u may want to consider that individual indiscriminate placing of satelite dishes (and from my observation, exposed external air cond piping) is gonna affect the appearance and ultimately the value of our property. dunno... have you guys noticed the unsightly black "worms" (piping) appearing on the external facade of the blocks? yes, people... it will affect the appeal and value of the apartment. |

Yes, I do agree with you of those unsightly parabolic dishes sticking out of the balconies but if one really needs to watch EPL and the bloody mgmt folks is sitting on their butts watching in of their spanking new dishes "hidden" from the JD public's view?
Yes, I do agree that it definitely kills the appeal and smacks down the price of the property but if they can't do things fast enough AFTER listening to our pleas, I still think we should go ahead and plant them dishes!
Have you ever noticed that our dear mgmt is always two-steps behind in everything they do .. ie., from applying the temp CF, right down to simple things like phone lines ? We don't need to go too far to do a comparison, the one opposite the highway is good enough.
There are ways the dear mgmt can mitigate this risk if only they will act sooner... but NO.... One way to rectify this is for mgmt to provide the ASTRO service ASAP and do a good job in providing a RELIABLE, STABLE and ROBUST astro connectivity. As a homeowner using this service, I don't want to hear crap excuses like "due to signal loss bcoz a rat chew our cable last night at 3am while we were too busy boozing behind the pool after midnite..".
Well, I've said it once, and I'll say it again: I do HATE to do things without management consent but if I cannot be provided with a reasonable workaround, I'll do things alternatively (albeit as legal as I can) even if it means bringing down my own property price.
Well, that's my own RM0.02,
