Hi All,

The management is getting bad to worse daily. My Hse was broke into BLOCK C 13 - XX on Tuesday morning. When i went to see the guard in the morning he had the guts to tell me that it is inside man's job and he sounded very sure about it.

There was an evidence left (a pair of shoes). I informed the guard on that and after that I came up back the shoes were already taken by (no idea who). I checked with resident on my floor no one own the shoes.

I was awake the whole night yesterday aboserving what was going on as i can see the guard hse direct from my hse ... the guards were actually sleeping and cars were going in unsupervised..... can u all believe it !!!!!!!.
All the guards are stationed at the same place (at the guard hse). No one is walking around or during any rounds.

The are practiclly paid for sleeping on their job.The management office is not opened at 9am if it is raining. The workers will be delayed due jam. another stupid reason given !!!!!!!!.

When i called the management yesterday they had guts to say that 40% of the residence have not paid the maintenance fee and due to that they have cut down on the guards.

I really can't believe this people.

mkaur,

I am very sorry on what happened to your unit on tuesday.

yeah.. whatever the reason or excuses given by the management & guards really unbearable.

Even if there are 40% of residents who dont pay for the maintainance fees, they act as the management should go door to door collect or do whatever in order to get things done. We as the consumer paying them RM90 each month from 600 units(60% of us), it is their responsibility to get the job done.

They don not throw back the questiong to us please!

JDA residents should be co-operate and voice out, change the management office if can!

If this things keep going on and on..... very soon we'll have to take our own measures to prevent from such incidents occur again..... think about our loved one's, what can we do if somethin bad were to happen to them.... my suggestion if the management does want to do anything about it.....we take some action by getting all the owner consent to higher a security for our own block......... Mad

mkaur,

I'm sorry to hear your house was broken into. I hope nobody was hurt. As for the shoes left behind, it would have been a good evidence if it had not been taken away. I suggest to all that if ever there's evidence of any sort, please keep it immediately and bring it to the police station when you all lodge your reports. Don't trust the guards to do anything.

mahes.r, you're right that if the management doesn't want to do anything about it, we as the residents should do something before it's too late. But are we allowed to hire a security for our own block eventhough after getting all the owners conscent? If yes, I don't mind doing that if it means being able to prevent if not 100% at least some of the break ins. I'm from block E actually. Will that lead to a conflict or some sort?

I wonder maybe we should highlight this on the press and let the public know, and only then maybe the mgt or BJD will move their big bottom and do something!!

P/s: I wonder what's the cost of installing those card access system.

Hi Reene,

Thanks alot. Fortunely they did hurt any of us in the hse.... The thief actually left an evidence in my hse a box of cigarette. when the police came we hand it over to them... one of them said they can't do anything with it and started smoking....

Even we give them the evidence it is not being tested for any print.... They are just being ignorant...

From my previous experience..... we can fight for our rights to get guard for our block..... by showing stats to the commitee people and the useless management its either they do somethin or we do it for our own good....

infact i'm thinkin of getting all resindent corporation whose house was broken into to get together and send a legal notice or in other words "sue" the management people for their "Negligence".....

nowdays people opt for apartment or condo because of the security service available for these type of houses.....but looks like it's not worth at all...

For those people who bought the house at jalil damai, will suffer a great loss because these incidents......after all what does the management have to loose !!!!! from management point of view once the house has been sold their job is done... no one really cares about after sales service..... and the residence well fair...... until somethin really bad happen the management will never take it too seriously.......... Mad better to do somethin bout it before its too late for anything.......

Hi mkaur, sorry to hear about yr case. You mentioned tht they break in in the morning, what time was that? Were you home at that time? How did they break in? Sorry about the questions, just wondering how they did it, and whether we can sort of learn from this and strengthen our own security of our home for the future.
Don't really agree with mahes's suggestion or getting our own security people, as this will incur additional costs. Since we are already paying them maintenance fees every month, they should rectify their own shortcomings.

When you say laundry room i assume it's the yard area right? Wah! They are so brave/desperate that they can hang high up and cling on to the grill!
Thank god nothing happened to your family.
That's why i sleep with a baseball bat in my room nowadays! Very Happy

Hi Dsee.

Sorry forgot to add. Yes i was at home and sleeping but they were very quite that i did not even a sound. They took things such as credit card, laptop, PDA and camera... they only went for small things and expensive which will make no noise when they are taking it. They did not take the wallet but only the money from it.

They did not take any syillings. Another friend of my whose hse in block B was break in the same way & same day ... they took her husband's credit card and swipe it at cheras petronas station at 6.45am......more than RM 600 only for petrol.

Be very careful with the laptop, cash & etc try not keep anything like that at home. It won't be long before they have the guts to go thru the entire hse...

mkaur,

This is my first time heard that they break-in to the house when ppl is in the house. My house "kena" break-in last month, during day-time, and nobody is in the house..... Mind to tell us what have you lost from that ?

Are you the one who stick a complaint letter beside the lift ?

Hi Dsee,

I think we should oil the grills with coconut oil in that way if again they try to slid into the hse , they happily slid to the ground floor......

Hi mkaur, thanks for the advice, looks like gotta keep the laptop in the room liao! These guys must be real pros to be so quiet and talk only the small things which can be easily sold off..
But RM600 for petrol? I thought there's a limit to the amount of petrol pumped.. Did they ask the petrol station if the cctv capture them?
