Hi,There is series of break-in on 30th May 2006 at 6th Floor Block A.
Total Unit break-in : 3 units (side by side/brea-in one time during day time.
From what I see, this time they can cut the inside part of 'metal ear' of the grill door than break-in.
Last time i though they can`t do it, i tough they only can the outside part, but now...
From what I know since yesterday nite i talk with 1 of the security guard, ONLY AT BLOCK A itself, WITHIN THIS 4 MONTHS(since FEB till May) there is around 7 to 8 cases of break-in happen here.
But still can`t catch them...
Ok, since the management & the guards are doing notting, NOW WE SHOULD ASK OURSELF, WHAT CAN / SHOULD WE DO TO PROTECT OUR SELF?
I don`t want till any bad case happen then only we take action.I got family stay there while I am working.
Should we form a FLOOR REP. as PAK Din suggest or launch the RELA / Neighboughood Watch program or anything that can make the situation better?
Right now, it seem that WE ARE " SLEEPING WITH THE ENERMY "
dON`T u THINK SO? |

Fisrt of all, I think better go and buy a good & thick clamp for our main door lock rather than waiting our floor rep........ |

Hi all... it's been awhile now since my last post here...
I was one of the unfortunate victims of the break-in last May. Very very horrifying!! They were smart that they went straight to the bedroom & took my cash & jewelleries... My neighbour lost 3 laptops!! These robbers went off as rich men...
Just as precaution for all, I notice that the emergency exit door at the end is ALWAYS unlock by the time I get home from work.. & the next morning, it'll be unlock again... It's easy target for these robbers to run or hide behind the door. If your house is at the end like mine, do make sure that the door is always locked.
I don't know if it's going to happen again, but, I must say, to be safe is to know your neighbours & always tell them if you're not at home for more than 1 day. At least, if they hear something funny, they'll be more cautious...
By the way, if anything happens, our police station is in Cheras, not Sungai Besi as written on the board. We found out the hard way..
Be safe, everyone... |

From what i suspect is the cleaning lady to open the fire exit door while perhaps they are really doing their job - cleaning. I just want to remind for those who living near the fire exit door, just make sure 100% the fire exit door is lock when very time you are in or out from your house. |

I know how it feels, my unit was broken in twice!! Its about time the management install the security card system at the lobby. There are just too many emergency exits and having a guard sitting at the lobby is just not very effective.
by the way, the guard still do not check our car stickers when we drive in... |
