Having read aaronfs' posting on the missing fire hose nozzle and upon a fellow resident raising safety concerns, I checked the hose reel and this is what I found:
I shudder to think what will happen in the event of a fire actually breaking out at jda. The Bomba may be just minutes away but imagine them having arrived here only to find out:
1. Lif Bomba is out of commission;
2. The hose reel is rendered useless without the attachment ring & nozzle;
3. No fire extinguishers at certain spots.
I suggest anyone who notices these things report to the management, obtain a copy of the report and forward a copy to the Bomba. I will do so this Saturday. |

merci boucu Mr Darric Ong.
At least we know there are other people who are also concerned as well.
Your photo looks exactly the same at what we have in Block A.
I'm pretty sure its the same in all the other blocks.
Strange to know that the management doesn't check on this!?
No need to know if they gonna act on this coz we already know the answer to this and even for the other irregularities and flouting of rules.
They are only interested in collecting maintenance fees.
I have been observing the security lately and if you notice, they don't check on cars coming in and out already . This is pretty obvious during the day when we all go to work. And this is the hour when the robbers actually strike. |

Aaronfs, I AM from Block A. A neighbour brought up this concern and I decided to check. Anyway, from the feedback from Bomba during the last dialogue, they did say that BJD has flouted quite a number of regulations but gave the new management time to have that sorted out.
Be that as it may, trying to get Raine Horne to take any steps is to me a waste of time and guaranteed to raise your blood pressure a notch. I can already predict their response: malicious vandalism (a phrase I'm sure ssh is very familiar with as well). Thus implying we residents find pleasure in cutting through thick canvas hose and secretly stashing the nozzles and attachment rings in our yard.
And yes, the purse strings are held tight by BJD and not Raine Horne. Thus, even if there is a pressing need, Raine Horne will still need to put in a request to BJD for their approval before anything can be done. Their 'petty cash' is, I believe, in the region of RM2k. Any expenditure beyond that has to be first sanctioned by BJD. |

For no good reason, somebody broke the Bilik Electric Meter door yesterday in Block D and this is as good as somebody breaking into a residential unit because it is very obvious that the door was forced open, and yet, I think the guards are not aware of this!!!
What's more our unit??!!!!!!!
If TNB is here to check on our meters for billing purposes, I presume they should have obtained the necessary key from MGmt Office right, unless otherwise which I do not dare to think about!!! |

As a resident, if u do care, for a start, please make sure the fire retardant door at your floor is always kept closed ( ie, the door at each and every floor's lift area).
And to resident who have " tidak tak apa" atitude, just imagine this, u r taking a lift from higher floor, and says, there is a fire breakout at 5th floor, u will be caught roasted in the lift, satay JDA !!!
so, please please keep the retardant door CLOSED all times, dont open it for convenient reason....
cheers! |

Darric.... blood boil up a notch... that is for sure.
So what are we going to do about it?
Is there a bureau or a place to lodge a complaint?
Can we complain this to the Housing Ministry? |

| the public liability insurance does not cover this, may be the burglary insurance should cover this. if i not mistaken need to proof to insurance co for the theft - how to proof ? i don't think police rpt being lodged. if management not take action to claim at residents best interest so what for they insured this insurance & if can't claim back from insurance company then the replacement cost born by us again ??? - this is due to their inefficiency & ineffectiveness to follow-up. |
