Happy New Year to all !!
Notice recently that the "SURAU" speaker is a little too loud recently. I'm happy with the previous speaker volume. No complaint about it as we all need to learn to respect other habitants in this country.
I'm calling out to fellow BJD to give comment.
Thanks. |

Happy New Year !
Thanks for paying attention to this case,
i'm being staying here over 2 yrs, this is the frist time i make this complaint. i'm also happy with the previous speaker volume too, but in this fews days the speaker is really loud or maybe there changed a new speaker and i was stay in blok F just beside the Surau so i can see the speaker is facing to blk F maybe is that reson we hear it so clearly , i suggest can there just adjust the speaker to facing other place then it will be better.
Thanks

i'm a chinese christian from Block F.
yup.. i'm fine too with the volume for the past 3 years... until this week.. on Monday i was rudely awakened too early in the morning.. like there was a loudspeaker right outside my window... i realized that it was the azan subuh..
and when i came home after work, the full maghrib ceramah was broadcast over loudspeaker too.. it was like the loudspeaker at a funfair.. noisy but we can't make out the words (so what's the point of broadcasting it?) The sound can be heard from every room in my house.. for 1.5 hours
From my carpark, i looked for where the sound was coming from.. there were 2 speakers on a tall pole - one facing block F! and one facing the vacant land (presumably aimed toward the shoplots & Jalil Sutera. Is it a new pole? Previously the sound only came from the speakers at the surau itself.
Whatever it is, it gets me depressed at this start of 2009.
Do I have to give up my beloved home i've invested so much in?
Am i facing a blocked wall, or is there chance of reasonable plea to the surau authorities?
I'm willing to go and speak to whoever.
Perhaps to ask them to turn the speaker away from Block F & more towards Jalil Sutera. I'm very sad cos i'm always conscious of not disturbing my neigbours with loud TV or music, and here i'm being disturbed, feeling powerless and lacking sleep
If we, the affected ones at Block F don't voice out, who else will? |
